Your safety comes first

BrewMate is built around real, public places. A few simple habits keep it that way.

• Meet in public areas. Stay inside the café, in view of other people and staff. Never go somewhere private.
• Don't share personal information. No home address, workplace details or financial info.
• Tell café staff if you feel uncomfortable. They are there to help.
• Block or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. You never need to explain, and they aren't told.

Consent is separate for every step

Connecting is not consent to chat, and chatting is not consent to meet. Meeting only happens when both people explicitly say they're comfortable — and you can say “not right now” at any time.

You're always in control

Hide yourself or leave the café at any time and you disappear from discovery immediately. Blocking removes you from each other's view entirely.

If something is wrong right now

Speak to a member of the café staff. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.
